Beautiful color and full flowers are trademarks of 'Large Purple Jade'. The first day colors are intense. The exceptionally well-formed flower holds its shape well and does well as a cut flower in arrangements. The strong purple violet (red) color of the petals contrasted to the golden yellow of the receptacle makes this lotus a favorite! The flowers are considered to have a strong scent by the Chinese. The descriptive word 'large' in the name refers to the flower size, not the plant height.
