Customers Outside the USA
Welcome to Ten Mile Creek Nursery!
It can be very expensive to order lotus from the United States and have them shipped to another country.
A phytosanitary certificate is required at custom inspections and must be included with every order (Canada - $15, European Union - $75, for other countries the cost varies but will be at least $75). Depending on the country, it might also be necessary for customers to obtain an import license that specifically lists Nelumbo nucifera (lotus). Canada and the European Union do not require an import license; however, India, Russia, Mexico, Hong Kong and many others do. The shipping cost is also much higher for orders shipped outside of the United States.
Ten Mile Creek Nursery is located in the Northern Hemisphere. Our lotus are harvested January through early March. We ship dormant tubers from mid-March through early May. Our harvest and growing seasons are opposite of countries located in the Southern Hemisphere. We hope to add growers to our list specifically for our guests from the Southern Hemisphere soon.
We highly recommend that you consider ordering your lotus from the growers listed below! They are among the world's best and they might be able to provide your lotus at a much better price.
If you try these growers and still cannot find what you want, please shop with us.
We appreciate your business!
