Nelumbo nucifera
Feathered Skirt is an unusual versicolor bowl lotus. In Asia it is often called Carrot Lotus because it's color. The flower has a luminous color that is slightly orange, in fact, it is sometimes called Carrot Lotus. The outer petals are pointed like a star. The double-petal flower is medium/large compared to the plant as a whole. We didn't catch a great picture of this variety since this is our first year to grow it but the pictures we've seen from growers in Thailand are extraordinarily beautiful.
