Deeply Attracted is the kind of lotus that makes you stop, look twice, and—just as its name suggests—become completely captivated.

Deeply Attracted is a gorgeous medium-sized lotus with an enchanting, romantic presence. Its broad outer petals open in soft ivory and creamy blush, delicately edged and veined in shades of pink, while the inner petals become increasingly rich in color.

At the heart of the flower, the pink intensifies into a beautifully ruffled cluster of petals, creating a captivating rose-pink center surrounded by pale, glowing petals. The result is a flower with wonderful depth and dimension—almost as though the color is drawing you inward toward the center.

The large, pointed outer petals give Deeply Attracted an elegant star-like silhouette, while the fuller inner petals add a touch of peony-like charm. It's a lovely combination of soft, sophisticated coloring and dramatic form.

How do I fertilize lotus? When do I begin to fertilize lotus?
Wait until the lotus plant has several floating leaves or begins to put up aerial leaves before adding fertilizer. Choose a good fertilizer such as Pondtabbs or Landon’s Aquatic Fertilizer and follow the instructions carefully. The amount of fertilizer to use is usually based on the size of the pot and the amount of soil in the pot. For example, most of the small tablets are added at a ratio of 1-2 tablets per gallon of soil in the pot. Once the lotus has started to grow vigorously tablets can be added every 2-3 weeks. Stop fertilizing in late summer to allow the lotus to use up all the fertilizer in the pot before going dormant. This encourages the lotus to form better rhizomes.
