Small enough to cradle in your hand yet rich enough to command attention, Qian Xiao Zi is a little lotus with an extraordinary presence—a miniature jewel blooming on the water. It is a wonderfully tiny bowl lotus, with a charm that comes from its delicate scale and intensely colored little bloom.
The petals are a rich magenta-pink, with deeper raspberry tones toward the outer petals and softer pink highlights where the light passes through them. The flower forms a compact, rounded cup rather than opening completely flat, giving it an almost jewel-like appearance. Its upright inner petals curl inward protectively around the center, while the outer petals gently sweep outward.
Inside, glimpses of pale pink and warm golden-orange stamens appear between the petals. The partially enclosed center adds to the flower's sense of intimacy—it looks almost as though the little lotus is carefully holding its heart within its petals.
