Petite, graceful, and exquisitely delicate, Qian Shumei is a little lotus whose beauty lies in refinement rather than size. Qian Shumei is a charming tiny bowl lotus, distinguished by its graceful, airy form and exceptionally delicate coloring. Though miniature in scale, its flowers have an elegant presence, with slender petals opening upward and outward like little porcelain cups.
The petals are predominantly creamy white, warmed with a soft golden-yellow glow toward their bases. Their edges and fine veins are delicately traced in clear pink, with the color becoming more pronounced at the pointed tips. This fine pink outlining gives the flowers a wonderfully refined, almost hand-painted appearance.
The blooms have a particularly beautiful upright, star-like form. Many of the petals stand tall and pointed around the center, while the outer petals sweep outward more gently. The result is a flower that feels light and graceful rather than dense or heavy.
At the center, the golden-yellow receptacle is surrounded by a neat ring of pale stamens. The warm center seems to glow through the translucent white petals, emphasizing the flower's soft, luminous character.
