Oriental Red is a spectacular lotus for those who love bold, classic color. This very large lotus produces brilliant red, single-petal flowers, with broad, gracefully rounded petals that open wide to reveal the flower’s beautiful golden center.
The intense red petals glow against the green foliage, while the prominent golden-yellow receptacle and surrounding golden stamens provide a striking contrast. The simple, open form of the single bloom allows every detail to shine—from the delicate veins running through each petal to the elegant ring of stamens surrounding the center.
There is something wonderfully timeless about Oriental Red. Its enormous flowers have a confident, graceful presence, making it a standout even among a collection of spectacular lotus blooms
