Aoyun Lian
Nelumbo nucifera
This very yellow lotus was selected for use in the opening ceremonies at the Beijing Olympics. The warm color of the petals is accented by light pink tips. An early bloomer with lush dark green foliage, 'Olympic Lotus' is a star in the water garden.
