Blushing Bride

Nelumbo nucifera

This Ten Mile Creek hybrid is called 'Blushing Bride' because of the solid pink color and because the flower resembles a bride's bouquet, with big broad outer petals that form a perfect platform for the frilly ball of inside petals. The flowers are very large, 10'-11' on a mature plant.
